The Picasso triggerfish lives in the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region. Its name comes from the bright colours and patterns on its flanks. Territorial, it has strong teeth capable of breaking everything it wants to eat. Its food includes molluscs, shellfish, sea urchins, worms and coral. They have spikes on their back and stomach which they bristle to impress their predators or to anchor them to rocks.
